Bookings can be made via telephone, email or online via our website and will be confirmed via email upon receipt of a deposit payment.
Deposit for B&B guests
We kindly request a deposit equal to the cost of the first night’s stay per room booked.
Deposit for Cottage rental
We kindly request a deposit of £100 per booking.
For the remainder of 2021, we have implemented a more flexible cancellation policy for both B&B rooms and the cottage. This is to help those guests impacted by changes in travel restrictions and other regulations imposed by the Welsh Government during the Covid 19 pandemic.
In the event of you having to cancel your stay, we will, where availability allows, reschedule your visit to another date. If this is not possible and you are cancelling more than 7 days before your stay we will refund your deposit. For cancellations received less than 7 days prior to your arrival, we will ask for payment to cover the cost of your first night’s stay in a B&B room or the deposit of £100 for the cottage.
Should your stay be affected by Covid regulations, you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have to self isolate at short notice, please get in touch as we will be more than happy to change the date of your stay.
The price you pay will be the amount agreed at the time of booking.
We are able to accept payment via card (Visa or Mastercard), cash, bank transfer or Paypal.
Please remember to settle any outstanding bill prior to your departure.
We request that you observe the occupancy guidelines for your room or the cottage.
Check in & Out
Your accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival.
We ask that you vacate your accommodation by 10 am on the day of departure and ensure all keys are returned.
By prior arrangement, we can be flexible on check-in and out times if availability allows.
The Old Rectory is designated non-smoking throughout and we request that all guests respect this. We have no objections to guests smoking in the garden.
For the whole of the period during your stay, you will be responsible for your accommodation and will be expected to take reasonable care of it. The property and all equipment in your accommodation must be left clean and tidy at the end of your stay. We also request that you respect other guests staying at The Old Rectory, us – the owners and our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.
We acknowledge that accidents do happen. All damage and breakages are the responsibility of you the guest. We request that you notify us of any damage or breakages prior to the end of your stay. We reserve the right to charge you for repairing any damage, additional cleaning or replacing broken items that go beyond what would normally be expected.
If you have any issues at all during your stay, we request that you make us aware at the earliest convenience in order that we can take the necessary action to resolve the matter.
Personal belongings are your responsibility during your stay.
