Lounge

Bed and breakfast guests are welcome to relax in our spacious lounge. Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee with a homemade sweet treat on arrival. We have a selection of OS maps, walking guides and local Town trail leaflets that you can use to plan your activities or simply put your feet up after an enjoyable day out in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Guests are also welcome to watch television or take a look at a magazine or book from our collection.

We also have some seats out in the garden, so when the weather allows, guests are welcome to sit out and enjoy listening to the birds, get some fresh air and enjoy the peace our countryside location has to offer.

What Our Guests Say

  • Cedar Cottage is lovely, very much home from home. Catherine is friendly and on hand if you need any guidance. We have stayed before in the B&B which we also enjoyed.

  • I can't remember how many times I've stayed with Catherine and Mike. It is simply home away from home.
Clipper fair trade hot chocolate in my room is a good place to start!
Opening my window in the morning, winter sun - just - on the hill opposite, the only sound, the stream outside.
Homemade bread, a host who clearly cares about their guests - simple things make this place special.
    Thank you again.
